Realust.com is operated by corporate.ooo, a subsidiary of Dallas Brands LLC (“Realust,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit realust.com (the “Site”), use the Realust app for iPhone (the “App”), sign up for our email newsletter, comment on our blog, or text us through the Realust Text Line.
Information We Collect
- Text messages. When you text our number, we receive your phone number, the content of your messages, and the date and time they were sent.
- Email newsletter. If you join our newsletter, we collect the email address you enter and the page you signed up from.
- Blog comments. If you comment on a post, we collect the name, email address, and (optional) website you enter, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.
- Analytics. We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
We do not buy, rent, or otherwise acquire phone number or email lists. We only text people who text us first.
Realust App for iPhone
The App does not require an account and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. It contains no third-party advertising or analytics code. City pages may show sponsored local partner listings, labeled “Sponsored.” Local businesses buy them on realust.com, not in the App, and tapping one opens that business’s website in Safari. Partner listings do not collect any information from the App. The App is published on the Apple App Store by Jason Haynes for corporate.ooo.
- Saved on your device only. Cities you save, your custom category weights, and the cities you last compared are stored on your iPhone. They are not sent to us, and they are removed when you delete them or delete the App.
- Questions you ask. When you use “Ask about any North Texas city,” the text of your question is sent to our server at realust.com so we can answer it. To interpret the question, our server sends the question text to our AI provider, Anthropic, without your name, contact details, or device identifiers. We use the answer only to filter our own city data. Questions are not linked to you. Please do not include personal information in a question.
- Rate limiting. To limit how many questions can be asked, our server briefly uses the IP address the request comes from.
- City data and guides. The App downloads city data and articles from realust.com and keeps a copy on your device so it works offline.
- Calls, texts, and links. Tapping Text or Call opens your iPhone’s Messages or Phone app. The App does not read your contacts or messages. Links to other websites open in Safari.

SMS / Text Messaging (Realust Text Line)
You can start a conversation with us by texting INFO (or any message) to (469) 630-3600. Full program details are on our SMS page. By texting us, you consent to receive SMS replies from Realust related to your inquiry, such as answers to your questions, city data, and links to pages on the Site.
- Message frequency varies based on your conversation.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
- Reply HELP for help, or email mail@realust.com.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only party that processes your phone number on our behalf is our messaging provider, Twilio, solely to deliver messages you request. You can review Twilio’s privacy policy at twilio.com/en-us/legal/privacy.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and its services (for example, Twilio for text messaging, our web host, Supabase for site data, and Anthropic to interpret questions asked in the App), only as needed to provide those services, or when required by law. None of these providers may use your information for their own marketing, and each is required to protect it in line with this Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Our analytics do not use cookies. WordPress may set cookies if you leave a comment (to remember your name and email for next time) or if you log in to the site. These cookies contain no tracking data and you can clear them at any time in your browser.
Data Storage, Security & Retention
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. We keep text message records and newsletter sign-ups only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations, and blog comments for as long as they are published. Questions asked in the App are kept on our server for no more than 24 hours, and IP addresses used for rate limiting for no more than one hour. Information saved in the App stays on your device until you remove it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your Choices & Rights
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by emailing us or using the link in any newsletter
- Remove information saved in the App by un-saving a city, resetting your weights, or deleting the App
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information

Third-Party Links
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.
Children’s Privacy
The Site, the App, and the Realust Text Line are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
