High Street Residential, part of Trammell Crow Company, is building a seven-story, 394-unit apartment building at the northeast corner of Twin Sixties Drive and Worcola Street, next to DART's SMU/Mockingbird Station. It comes with a 500-space underground garage open to DART riders and shoppers. About 20% of the homes will rent at affordable rates with help from City of Dallas tax increment financing. It is the first phase of a plan to turn about 16 acres of DART surface parking into a walkable mixed-use neighborhood. Work began in January 2026, with completion expected by the end of 2027.
