Schools

All of Garden Ridge is in Lewisville ISD, rated B in both 2026 and 2025, and nearly every home goes to Lewisville High: ninth and tenth graders attend its Killough campus, and juniors and seniors attend the main campus. Garden Oak and two-thirds of the Garden Ridge section go to Valley Ridge Elementary (listed by TEA as STEM Academy at Valley Ridge Elementary) and Huffines Middle; the other third, around Garden Ridge Estates 1, goes to Vickery Elementary and Hedrick Middle; and Garden Park Place goes to Degan Elementary and Huffines. Despite the name, Garden Ridge Elementary, which the district closed after 2024-25, fed Flower Mound High, not Lewisville High.

Lewisville High's ninth and tenth graders attend its Killough or Harmon campus, and Hebron and Marcus have separate ninth-grade campuses; TEA rates these campuses as part of their high school. Ratings are TEA's 2026 A–F grades, released August 2026, with 2025 grades where we found them; TEA hasn't published 0–100 scores for these campuses. HOAs and neighborhood associations

We found no HOA. Listings in Garden Ridge Estates 1 and Garden Oak Estates don't mention an HOA, neighborhoods.com leaves its association-fee field blank, and we found no website, management company or Texas HOA registry filing for a Lewisville association by these names. The Enclave of Garden Ridge HOA in the state registry is in the city of Garden Ridge, near San Antonio, not here. With no HOA there are no dues, no association pool and no architectural review; city code and any recorded deed restrictions set exterior standards.

Listings in Garden Ridge Estates 1 and Garden Oak Estates Phase 5 don't mention an HOA, neighborhoods.com leaves its fee field blank, and we found no association website or state filing. City parks take the place of association amenities.

  • Iris Lane, Daffodil and Austin Kent Ellis parks and the 21-acre Heritage Prairie Park and Trail border the Garden Ridge section

Garden Park Place

We found no association, website or state filing for Garden Park Place, but we also didn't find a recent listing there that states its HOA status. Ask the seller and check for a resale certificate.

  • ALDI on W Main St and Tom Thumb on Cross Timbers Rd are about 0.3 and 0.5 mile from the middle of the plat
  • Lewisville Public Library is about 0.7 mile away and Sun Valley Aquatic Center about 0.9 mile

Lewisville doesn't publish a neighborhood-association map, so association names, dues and amenities come from each association's website and posted documents, the Texas HOA management-certificate registry and recent listings, checked November 2026. Ask for the resale certificate and any recorded deed restrictions on a home. We found no HOA or neighborhood association for these sections: recent listings show no association dues. Older Lewisville subdivisions can still carry recorded deed restrictions, so ask for them on any home.

Flood zones

None of the 902 lots touches FEMA's mapped 1%-annual-chance or 0.2% floodplain.
